  15.       Full list of the features made up for this purpose would be too
  16.       long to be included in here, so I'll make it brief:

  18.         - 2-32 channels supported (nothing new ;)
  19.         - full instrument support w/:
  20.             - multisample support
  21.             - full envelope support
  22.             - autovibrato, fadeout, etc.
  23.             - 16-bit samples are supported but converted
  24.               to 8-bit at the moment
  25.         - nearly complete command support, missing:
  26.             - Glissando control
  27.             - Vibrato and tremolo waveforms
  28.             - Set finetune
  29.             - Pattern loop
  30.             - All panning related commands
  31.         - linear and "Amiga" (period based) frequencies supported
  32.         - variable length patterns, restart position, independent
  33.           master volume, etc., etc.

  35.     NOTE!  PS3M supports only format version $104, which is the one
  36.     of all released versions of FT2, but there are some old modules
  37.     of format $102 (claustr2.xm, shelcomb.xm and some others by
  38.     Vogue / Triton), which can't be played because the $102 format is
  39.     different and not documented (is $104 then? ;).  The solution is
  40.     to load them in FT2 (it loads all XM-formats) and save it in
  41.     version $104 format.

  44.     + You can now define the mixing buffer size in the config file.
  45.       Check it out!
  46.     + You can now supress the startup-banner in the config file.
  47.     + The "Pos" gadget now restarts the song, "Vol" gadget acts as
  48.       mute switch and the play gadget now always loads new song(s).
  49.     - Fixed miscellaneous bugs appeared during the development...
  50.     + Plays samples up to 4 GB (in fact this was there already from
  51.       the very beginning, but the length field was only a word for
  52.       Amiga hardware register "compatibility" (the "registers" were in
  53.       the same order and had the same sizes)...)
